Acer Aspire One A110X

Acer has released a new version fo the Aspire One laptop, this time with a solid black color and a 16GB SSD. A few weeks ago a black version of the Acer Aspire One A150 started to show up, but that model has a 160GB hard drive instead of a solid state disk. Aside from the solid state memory, the other thing that sets the new Acer Aspire One A110X apart from the A150 is the fact that it only appears to be available in Germany at the moment, where it’s selling for about 399 Euros.
In terms of specs, the Aspire One A110X sports the same specs as the Aspire One A110. You’d still get the same 1.6GHz Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 8.9-inch LCD and the rest of the standard features of the original Aspire One. The Acer Aspire One A110X retails for around $509. The previous Aspire One models retails for $399 at Amazon right now. That’s the price you have to pay for an ultra-sleek, totally black Aspire One. Good thing that it’s only available in Germany and not in the US, otherwise I doubt if it will to us budget conscious folks.
We have already become accustomed with ASUS releasing different Eee PC models, such as those that have recently invaded the market and taken all the headlines in the process. Apparently, the consumer market is believed to be in need of several netbook systems that only differ ever so little in terms of performance and specifications.
Still, we do have to admit that netbooks have seriously impacted the portable PC market, especially this year, when Intel introduced its netbook-designed Atom processor. This fast growing segment of the market is expected to see even more products like this being released, especially since Intel is to upgrade its Atom CPU lineup, while competitors like VIA and AMD are also said to power some of the upcoming low-power, low-cost PCs.
It is powered by Intel’s Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB SSD. Aspire One A110X Black features a 8.9-inch LED backlit LCD display, WiFi, Crystal Eye webcam, and a multi card reader.
Acer Aspire One A110X Black Edition is now available in Germany for about Euro 400.
Aspire One A110X the Black Edition is a companion laptop that utilizes a 1.6 GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM memory, speedy 16GB SSD, storage, and 6-cell battery and pre-installed Windows XP Home Edition. The other features of this laptop are like the White Edition such as WLAN 802.11b / g, Acer Crystal Eye webcam, 1x SD Card Card Reader and 1x multi-in-1 card reader.
